Champion  13323     Gold member |  Subject: Forum ConsolidationHey BT'ers: We heard your feedback about the forums, and the suggestions to combine some of the smaller forums in order to spur more discussion. One of the great features of the site is that it uses keywords within a forum thread to suggest "related topics." With this awesome feature in place, it's easier than ever to find topics that are related to a very specific discussion. Naturally, that cuts down on the need to have a separate forum for every sub-group of triathletes. So, we wanted to let you know in advance that, at your suggestion, we'll be combining Athena/Clyde, Nutritional Cafe, Peloton, Tri-ing for Weight Loss, and Ultras into the main Triathlon Talk forum. All previous threads and discussions will be preserved, and will be searchable in the same way as usual. Based on your input, we can continue to look at more forum consolidation. Please let us know what you think! |

Yeah, that's a good point. I think if we're trying to streamline the forums AND increase the sense of conversation/community, that would be great. I'm nowhere near doing a HIM or IM, but that doesn't mean I don't want to be inspired by those who are! |
